What is a Pellet Freestanding Stove or Pellet Fireplace Insert? A Pellet Freestanding Stove or Pellet Fireplace Insert is scientifically engineered and technologically advanced mechanical equipment specially designed and manufactured to burn pellets made from 100% natural wood to produce heat, energy, and warmth (instead of other forms of fuel such as natural or propane gas). What is a Wood Pellet? Wood Pellet fuel is made from 100% natural wood sawdust which is waste from sawmills in the United States and Canada. The basic process to manufacture this product is fairly simple. The clean waste sawdust is first pulverized to a uniform size and then dried to a specific moisture level. It is then forced through a press under very high pressure to produce the pellet that you use in your stove or fireplace insert. Since there are no artificial additives or binders used in this process, it is efficient and clean fuel.  Pellets are biomass materials, that is, products of commonly grown plants and trees.  And since pellets are made from what is otherwise a "waste" product - the sawdust - wood pellet fuel is environmentally responsible.
