York's easy access ash drawers make for simple ash cleaning.  This is an ideal way to convert your traditional fireplace into a real heat producer. You can realize impressive heating benefits and it looks great too! The York comes standard with a black door. An optional gold door overlay and log set are available. A convenient ash drawer makes cleaning easy too.

Wood pellets are made from economical wood by-products which are reclaimed from saw mills and wood based manufacturing plants. This clean, economical fuel eliminates the splitting, hauling, stocking and cleanup associated with traditional wood fires. Since pellets store neatly in 40 lb. bags, they require only 1/3 the space needed to store the same amount of usable energy in cord wood form - and they’re easier to transport. Most importantly, pellets burn cleaner! When you burn wood pellets in your St. Croix stove you are availing yourself of one of the cleanest most economical home heating choices available. Since your St. Croix pellet stove maintains precise air-to-fuel ratios, it burns hotter and cleaner. The result is minimal emissions into the atmosphere and less frequent stove cleaning.

Ever-Burn Grate System
Each St. Croix stove comes equipped with a self-cleaning grate system. This allows the stove to burn a wide variety of fuels with minimum shutdown. All St. Croix models feature convenient ash drawers. With just a couple of tugs on the grate scraper, virtually any residual ash is dropped into the ash drawer. No other pellet stove can go so long between cleanings.

Simple Control Panel
Each St. Croix stove is designed with a convenient easy-to-understand control panel that makes heat output adjustment simple. When you turn up the dial the air ration automatically rises with the heat.
If you desire even more convenience, your St. Croix stove may be connected to a wall thermostat. When heat isn’t needed your stove will drop to its lowest heat setting. This will assure hours of unattended even heat.

Insur-A-Lite Automatic Ignitor System (Standard)
A pellet stove is very easy to light manually. However many consumers like being able to light their units at the push of a button. Our igniter system gives you a reliable automatic ignition system. Oh! It will also relight the stove after a power failure. Now that’s convenience!
